Applicants for this course will be prepared for one of the following certificates according to their achieved level in English.

• First Certificate in English
• Linguaviva Advanced English
• Linguaviva Proficiency in English

Applicants for this course will be prepared for one of the following certificates according to their level in English. The course starts 13 to 20 weeks before the examination dates.

Students are excepted later in the course if their level is of an appropraite standard. This is at the discretion of the Director of Studies.

Time Table

09:00 - 10:30: Grammar, Comprehension, Vocabulary
10:30 - 11:00: Half and hour break for refreshments
11:00 - 12:30: Writing, listening and speaking practice
12:30 - 13:30: Lunch break
13:30 - 15:00: Supervised study period (3 afternoons per week)

In addition, students are given set work to prepare including a term project which will be assessed at the end of the course.
